We present you the characteristic of our region in order to awake your interest and invite you for a visit. For our region inhabitants the question of its attractiveness, exclusiveness and charm is beyond the discussion. Our role is to convince those who do not know about it yet that it is true and not a local patriotism only. It is also a bow to those who are interested in business partnership.
In every sphere of life, whether concerning the enterprise and labour or leisure being a realisation of one`s interests beginning with high culture and ending with contemplation of nature in its pure state, the region presents a diversified, rich and original offer for the young ones, dynamic and longing for a field to act on, as well as for the adults, sober-minded and cautious who need a feeling of safety and solidity.

There is a well developed road network here, of national and international importance, convenient railway communication and air and water-ways networks in the course of development.
Already, at present the voivodeship is easily accessible by the various means of transport and successive modernisation and the infrastructure development makes the communication system more and more efficient. The investments made in this sphere, financed in a significant degree from the EU funds, are strong factors of the economic development growth. The voivodeship`s area is crossed by the North-South and East-West transit routes connecting Scandinavia with the Balkans and West Europe with Russia and the Baltic Countries.
Regular air connections with Warsaw and soon with the whole Europe are assured by the Bydgoszcz Airport. In Toru_ an adaptation of a sports airport to the regional airport function for irregular traffic is going on.
The voivodeship location along the water route Vistula-Odra, consisting of the Bydgoszcz Channel uniting through the Note_ and Brda these two big rivers, is favourable for the water transport development, also an international one.
